Prof. Yi Chen obtained his degrees of MS and Ph. D in 1987 and 1990, respectively. He was then engaged in the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Later he visited the German Max-Planck-Institute for Developmental Biology in 1992-1994 and 1996-1997, respectively, and the University of California Berkeley, USA, in 2002-2004. He started to work on CE in 1984, SPRiin 1997, MsA in 2003 and MS in 2006. Inspections of living cells and the genesis of chirality inspire him the most. He is author and co-authors of 200 publications, more than 20 patents and 3 books (one, co-editors).
